Why Do I Need To Pay Membership?
Simply put, no-one can survive on beer alone, and that includes the cricket club. Lydney Cricket Club have tried to keep the fees it passes on to players and members to an absolute minimum, and as such our annual subscriptions are considerably lower than most comparable clubs in terms of size. Unfortunately, we do have to ask for a small contribution that pays for ground maintenance, training equipment, match balls, cleaning and other important stuff that allows us to run as a club throughout the season, as well as bills such as the ground lease, electricity and water which have to be paid all year round.
How Can I Pay?
Thanks for asking. There are many ways in which you can pay!
- In cash: pay your subs in cash to Ian Wilkins, Andrew Davis or Bob Park.
- By standing order: if you can’t cough it all up at once, we can set up a standing order over the course of the season.
- Premium match fee: you can nominate to pay a premium on your match fee until the subscription is paid.
No, you can’t pay us in beer or runs.
